Rates & Fees
Information regarding DTMA rates and fees can be found in the Rate Schedule.
Permits
All property owners must obtain approval from DTMA prior to performing any work that directly or indirectly affects the sewerage system. If you have permitting questions, please call (717) 566-3237. When obtaining a sewer permit you will be asked to provide the property owner’s name and address, the service address where the work will be performed, the contractor who will be performing the work, and the water supplier for the property. There may be a fee due and payable at the time the permit is obtained.
Please print out the Sewer Connection/Repair Permit Application, complete the form, then email it to customerservice@dtma.com. The permit will be processed and available for pickup and payment within 1-3 business days.
Permits will only be issued after payment has been received.
Sewer Inspections
To schedule an inspection please call (717) 576-8270 Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You must call 24 hours in advance to schedule an inspection. You will be asked to provide the sewer permit number, project address, your name, and your phone number.
Inspection Fees
- Laterals - $100
- Building Sewers 150 feet or less in length - $100. Fees for longer Building Sewers may be charged based on hours actually spent and direct labor plus markup of 40%.
Right To Know Request
The Law presumes all public records to be open for public inspection and copying unless certain conditions apply. Conditions include exceptions delineated in the law, records protected by a privilege or records exempted by Federal or State law or regulation.
DTMA has designated Doug Soliday to act as the Open Records Officer.
